Musings...

We have been reflecting that part of the reason for the trip was to be 'spiritually re-envisioned or refreshed´, whatever that means...searching for God or something like that. Well, when we were walking up a mountain in Yosemite Chris said he'd had a thought which he wasn't sure was either theologically or spiritually true but that if he tried to articulate it he was pretty sure he'd get quite choked up! It turned out I was thinking more or less along similar lines. While we had been focussing on checking out communities as a means to finding God at work and counting the sightseeing as 'just fun' we had a sense of God smiling at us from amidst the beauty of creation saying 'You don't need to strive to find me, here I am, you don't need to try to fathom me I am bigger and more wonderful than you can imagine, relax and enjoy me!'
